Assassin's Creed 3 Remaster Included In Odyssey DLC Season Pass

The season pass for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey will include remastered editions of the fifth installment in the series, Assassin's Creed III, and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Both games take place during the American Revolution.
Released in 2012, Assassin's Creed III tells the story of a Native American Assassin named Connor who fights the Templars in Colonial America. As Connor, players get to explore 18th century Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia. The game added new gameplay mechanics to the Assassin's Creedseries with new parkour elements designed for running in the wilderness. Assassin's Creed III: Liberation was a standalone title that was released in the same year, originally for the PlayStation Vita. Liberation introduced fans to Assassin's Creed's first female protagonist, Aveline de Grandpr√©.

Ubisoft has announced the details for Assassin Creed: Odyssey's season pass and post-launch content. The DLC will feature remastered versions of Assassin's Creed III and Liberation, which will come complete with improved game mechanics and ergonomics. According to Ubisoft, the games will also be released as standalone titles.

In addition to the remastered games, the season pass includes two new adventures, The Fate of Atlantis and Legacy of the First BladeThe Fate of Atlantiswill send the protagonist of Odyssey to the legendary underwater city, while Legacy of the First Blade will explore the history of the first person to wield the hidden blade, the trademark weapon of the Assassins. Both adventures will be released in the form of episodes that will launch every six weeks. The two stories will consist of three episodes each.
